TRANSFORM!

Strengthening collaboration of regional learning and innovation ecosystems!

The TRANSFORM project is dedicated to overcoming labour shortages by reskilling the workforce in alignment with the twin transition. Through our cutting-edge training programs, we empower workers and MSMEs by equipping them with the essential skills needed to thrive in a sustainable, year-round economy. Our initiatives focus on enhancing employability and fostering growth in the green and digital sectors, ensuring a future of resilient, adaptable careers.

The TRANSFORM project aims to reskill the workforce, addressing labour shortages in the context of the twin transition.

Our innovative training programs empower workers and MSMEs with the skills required to succeed year-round.

Objectives

Enhance Employability

Increase employment opportunities for workers, particularly in sectors affected by seasonal fluctuations, by providing reskilling opportunities that open new career pathways.

Skill Empowerment

Deliver training in digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills, equipping workers with the competencies needed for the twin transition to a sustainable economy. This includes reskilling adult workers in sectors like energy, agri-food, and tourism.

Support MSMEs

Strengthen the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to manage workforce transitions by offering targeted career guidance and developing tools for better workforce planning.

Policy Integration

Facilitate the integration of the TRANSFORM project’s findings into regional and EU policy-making processes. This will help promote the mainstreaming of reskilling programs and ensure they align with broader policy frameworks like Smart Specialization Strategies (S3).

Foster Innovation through Co-Creation

Promote collaborative innovation across stakeholders by engaging public authorities, private sector companies, and educational institutions through a Living Lab approach to develop and validate training programs.

Create Sustainable and Scalable Solutions

Develop long-term, scalable tools and platforms (such as the Smart Skills Intelligence Portal) to ensure the sustainability of reskilling efforts, making training accessible to a wide range of individuals and organizations beyond the project’s duration.

Target Group

Adult Workers/Learns

Unemployed, inactive people in transitions-workers in need to reskill for new tasks or into new job at scale as well as individuals from disavtanged groups such as women, rural communities, migrants and other vulnerable groups.

Public Authorities
